Hospice


This is where cabs go to die or convalesce. A taxi has a lifespan of about three years.

really, just 3 years. That's quite short. In Mexico, the lucky taxi drivers that own their own vehicle, make them last at least 8 years. Their vehicle of choice was the VW bug, that was produced in Mexico (basically because that was the official cab in the city) until 2001.

Im not a cab driver but as far as looks go I like the crown vics for cabs but do they use the crown vic cab eddition or do they buy used police interceptors?

Most of the cab vans in Cleveland Ohio are Chevrolet Astro vans.

The one I am driving is from 1999. But Lausanne (Switzerland) sure is not NYC.
