Sightseeing

Sometimes it seems like part of these sightseeing tours include an attraction called "Dead Cabbie." I imagine the tour guide saying something like, "Now, if you'll look to your right, you'll see what happens to a yellow cab when our bus cuts it off and tries to flatten it and kill the driver."

Luckily I swerved and hit my brakes in time when this particular bus got to that part of the tour.

Despite murderous sightseeing buses, the night was uneventful.

As a citizen of NYC, I feel for you, these drivers are the worst ever and these buses shouldn't be on the roads. Or at least go thru the same training as MTA bus drivers go thru. These guys seem to all be from NJ.

And a shout out to "anonymous": Obviously you have never driven in Massachusetts.

We have something similar to the murderous tour busses...

We have Off-road trucks.

It may not be that they are ~trying~ to kill anyone by literally running them over, but danged if they can see anyone close to the ground...

As for me, I drive a normal truck. (Last time I was in NY I didn't even see one truck... must be a south thing.)

Hey David, i'm in Boston and you're right Mass drivers are really dangerous at least for the pedestrian that i am! But you can also be rolled over by a train!

I hate being gawked at by the people on those buses.

Around here in VA, the Omnibusses do the same shit. It must be a US thing, or something. I also notice the largest vehicles, SUVs, Busses, Trucks , those fucking Dodge RAMs and Ford shitty F-# trucks, with 4 tires in the back, all those are horrid drivers.

Perhaps if people were required to only drive compact cars on the weekdays we wouldn't have so many accidents? They should do that in NJ. From your blog, I'll probably avoid driving there for long, I'll just stay on the interstate.

Keep it up, great blog!
